Alisha’s journey in security
Alisha embarked on her career in the security industry at the young age of 19, eager to take on new challenges. Starting as a Security Officer with Securitas Ireland, she faced numerous obstacles that shaped her both professionally and personally. Through dedication and perseverance, Alisha worked across various security posts before earning a position in the Security Command Centre.
This role provided her with a well-rounded understanding of the security industry and prepared her for future opportunities. Reflecting on her journey, she takes immense pride in how far she has come, and with Securitas’ support, her career continues to flourish.

Alisha’s performance during several critical incidents at the client site has been nothing short of extraordinary. She has effectively managed electrical fires, static shock injuries, and a fire in the car park—each requiring swift decision-making and composure under pressure. Despite not holding the title of a supervisor, Alisha consistently stepped up with unwavering confidence, taking control of each situation. Her ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress moments was instrumental in ensuring proper escalation and management of these emergencies. Her leadership not only mitigated potential risks but also provided reassurance to both colleagues and client during critical times.
